In 1958, Earl Roberts and his brother, Hugh, started a painting business, Roberts Brothers Painting, specializing in painting homes and farms in South Central Wisconsin, including Fond du Lac, Oshkosh and Madison suburbs. As their business grew, their sons became active in the business and worked long summers between school learning their craft.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1988, Earl’s son, Michael, began working for the painting company in estimating and sales. In 1988, he and his brother bought the business from their father and expanded into commercial painting, industrial painting and new construction painting, as well as maintaining a strong customer base in residential and agricultural & barn painting. In 2007, Michael became the sole owner and operator of Roberts Painting Ltd. and has served as President of the company since that time. Roberts Painting Ltd. now serves most of the state of Wisconsin.
